We have finally found the perfect dog sitter! Ira and Alice treat my two Portuguese Water Dogs as if they were their own. It is clear from the moment you see Ira interact with the dogs that this is not just a business for him, it is his passion. His knowledge for all aspects of canine care is extensive and helpful. Ira is highly skilled at handling the dogs, takes them for long walks everyday and spoils them as much as we do. This is the first time we have found a sitter that the dogs are happy to go to. HIGHLY recommend!
Daisy
Whiskers & paws offers a caring, friendly safe home setting for your pet. Ira provides stimulation exercise and companionship for the dogs. Going away is so much easier knowing Daisy is in such capable hands. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone Whiskers & paws.

I found a real gem for our Australian labradoodle with Whiskers & paws. Ira has made me feel like I’m leaving her with a home with people that love and care for her like their own. I have tried a few places and none are comparable to the time spent with me to make our Autumn and I feel comfortable. She doesn’t even look for me and loves staying with them. You can go to a large boarding kennel and see if your fur baby gets individual attention...not from my experience not worth the $$, you will pay.Conversely...Ira will not only provide a homey experience...he and his wife Alice will love your fur baby....I know, why? Well if I walk Jolais past their home, she jumps to see if they are home.Ira will take the time and CARE to assist your precious one to listen. Pay attention and return to you happy and content. - TT

I have known Ira for about 7 years, when I first started boarding his dog, a beautiful intact male Golden Retriever named Brandon. I was very impressed with how Brandon was trained. Afterwards I worked with Ira & he did private walks for a couple of my most challenging dogs, in particular 2 reactive Standard Poodles. I was very impressed with how he handled himself & I even learned a few tricks from him. I am very confident in Ira's abilities especially with puppies & challenging dogs.
